Product Emotion Cycle talks about the impact product has on the user , & the impact of the user’s responses on the behavior of the product itself.

Let’s understand it using the below diagram & an example of the Product — MakeMyTrip.

Use Case — Initially, during the customer booking journey , he was showcased a coupon code block & if he has received any coupon code in the email or if MakeMyTrip is running any offers then customer has to search it across & then apply the same.
As the customer journey got matured & convenience & minimal drop offs become the prime metrics to track, there was an introduction of the “Pre-applied Coupon Code “ block . This reduced the friction & saved time for the customers as well.
In the above scenario , interaction with the product brought the change in behavior of the user which in turn fueled the behavioral change in the product itself.
