There are 3 types of Product Managers.
The difference among these 3 types of Product Manager lies in terms of Stakeholders only.

Types of Product Manager

B2C Product Manager

Characteristics of B2C PM :-
A) It needs lot of vision , creativity & homework
B) The client is the average consumer
C) It is based on feedback loop from consumers & rely on further iteration to improve the Product adaption
D) Extensive learning curve
E) Exhaustive user testing
F) Plenty of consumers
G) High pressure & huge uncertainty

B2B Product Manager

Characteristics of B2B PM :-
A) Clients are other companies
B) PM coordinates with sales people of company
C) Good role to begin with in initial years of being a PM
D) Strict deadlines
E) Scope of creativity & flexibility
F) Slightly less no of users
G) Priorities decided based on Revenue potential

Internal Product Manager :

It involves building tools for others people inside the company.

Characteristics of Internal PM :-
A) Perfect role to start as a PM
B) Decent learning curve to understand technology
C) Opportunity to sharpen Project Management skills
D) Less risk & more
E) Very less users to experiment
