Weekly Team Meeting Sections

  • Introductory Note
You can kickstart the meeting with the overall progress on key items, movement in key metrics, & details regarding the reasons for picking up the current initiatives.
  • Solitary Updates
Each team member can briefly share an update on their key items. It should accommodate the below template ↓
    – Progress
    – Roadblock
    – Wins
    – Any new information
  • Wins
It’s crucial to lift the spirit of the team with the big wins & goals achieved in the week. Focus on the approach or the lessons learn in achieving that big win. Dissect the process so that there is learning to be shared with the team members.
  • Key Obstacles
Based on the last weekly team meeting, are the initiatives on track or there are any key roadblocks that need to be addressed or called out? It’s imperative that unprecedented obstacles might pop up which can delay the feature rollout timelines.
  • What’s next in the pipeline?
Apprise the team of the main priorities for the next week. Share the broad approach with them. It’s helpful if the team is also aware of how the success will look based on those priorities.
  • Key Actionables
Ideally, designate one member from the team to list down and document all the key decisions taken, opportunities discussed, action items against each team member and concerns raised. The same can be shared with colleagues for future reference & tracking the progress.
  • Announcements
This section can be used to announce any key information related to the organization. It can be a change in policy or filling up the survey for getting relevant feedback from the team members.
  • Applauds
It’s time to applaud the teammate who has made great progress or delivered something very crucial.
